This course is provided by ECDC as part of the GenEpi-BioTrain programme.
It is open for enrolment for anyone interested in learning more about R.
What is R?
R is a powerful open-source programming language and software environment, for statistical computing, data analysis, and graphical visualisation.
Who is the course for?
This course is for beginners without any experience with R. It will provide a general introduction to working in R and RStudio, including basic syntax, operations, data types, structures, manipulation and visualisation.
How long is the course?
Four live sessions will take place between Monday 17 and Thursday 20 February, each day from 09:00 to 12:30.
Will the course be recorded?
When you enrol to the course, you will also get access to the recordings after the live sessions.
Can I get a certificate?
To get a certificate of completion, you need to attend at least one live session and to watch the recordings of the sessions you were not able to attend.
What software do I need?
Before the start of the course, you need to have R and RStudio (freely available) preinstalled and running on your computer. More information on how to install them is available on the course page after you’ve enrolled.
