About the Learning Portal
The Learning Portal provides access to training in the domain of Disease Prevention and Control, in order to strengthen capacity of European Union and its Member States.
It is an education platform that offers learning materials and courses online for anyone to take. It also lists relevant opportunities offered by other organisations within the EU and beyond.
Who is behind the Learning Portal?
ECDC liaises with a network of partner organisations for public health training in order to share resources to offer training in communicable disease prevention and control to public health professionals in the European Union. Our trainers are selected from expert networks such as EPIET, EUPHEM or the ECDC Disease Specific Networks, as well as from ECDC National Focal Points for Training and partner organisations such as ASPHER, MEDIPIET and TEPHINET.
Who is the Learning Portal for?
ECDC provides access to training in the domain of disease prevention and control in order to strengthen capacity of the European Union and its Member States. In addition to self-paced training, ECDC organises instructor-led training events with limited seats. For these, National Focal Points in each EU Member State support ECDC in identifying the participants who can most benefit from instructor-led training events.
