Who is behind the ECDC Learning Portal?

ECDC liaises with a network of partner organisations for public health training in order to share resources to offer training in communicable disease prevention and control to public health professionals in the European Union. Our trainers are selected from expert networks such as EPIET, EUPHEM or the ECDC Disease Specific Networks, as well as from ECDC National Focal Points for Training and partner organisations such as ASPHER, MEDIPIET and TEPHINET.

Who is the Learning Portal for?

Self-paced training like e-learning courses and video lectures are available to everyone at anytime for free.

ECDC provides access to training in the domain of disease prevention and control in order to strengthen capacity of the European Union and its Member States. In addition to self-paced training, ECDC organises instructor-led training events with limited seats. For these, National Focal Points in each EU Member State support ECDC in identifying the participants who can most benefit from instructor-led training events.
