  Summary of the content

  This presentation is part of a thematic session held at ESCAIDE 2025, titled ‘Artificial intelligence in public health: hype or help?’. Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a popular term in the past few years, but do we really know what it means? How can we harness its potential in public health practice? The purpose of this session is to increase awareness and literacy about AI, with a focus on public health, and to gain a better understanding of its real-world implementation through insights from experts in the field.
