Three-hour self-paced online course on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing and bioinformatics.
Duration: 3-5 hours.
Audience: Will include public health experts that are or will be involved in the production, handling, or analysis of SARS-CoV-2 whole genome sequence data, as well as any other interested individuals with a relevant molecular biology background.
At the end of this training learners will be able to:
- Use three technologies used in the laboratory phase to generate the data to be analysed (Illumina, Oxford Nanopore and Ion Torrent)
- Use existing web-based tools for the data analysis (BaseSpace, Epi2Me and Galaxy).
- Share publicly data in GISAID.
- Analyse sequence data with Pangolin and Nextclade.
Participation: Will soon be available for public self-enrolment.
