To interact, communicate and collaborate through digital technologies while being aware of cultural and generational diversity. Participate in collective work and discussions both inside the organisation and with external stakeholders. Manage one’s digital presence, identity and reputation.

The Transversal Competencies are competencies outside of any technical expertise area which are crucial for all staff within ECDC to support their performance. 

If you are a manager, there are three additional competencies specific for your leadership role.

The Core Technical Competencies are specific to the job or the function within your area of expertise and are - usually - coherent with your study curriculum. These competencies are divided into three areas: digital, operational and resource management and governance.
